Show off who they are right now!

As with most things in life, first birthdays are not a "one size fits all" kind of affair.

Yes we all love a cake smash, and I even offer a Zero Waste version if you are worried about the frivolity of it.

Or maybe you want a themed birthday shoot without the mess- I've got you with my studio shoot offering.

Or how about a little teddy bears picnic in the great outdoors? If your little one loves being outside, loves their toys and even enjoys a bit of a sweet treat this is a lovely unique way of celebrating with them- and parents can jump in for a portrait too :)

And if they don't like cake? Then bring along their favourite treat! Hot dogs? Doughnuts? Hummus and carrot sticks? Broccoli? Spaghetti Bolognese! Chicken nuggies? The world is their menu!

Even a little autumn picnic would work- a basket of apples in hand as they toddle along.
