It leads to virtually one thing nine times out of ten... disappointment!

We all know they're just not wired that way. They're too switched on. Keen to learn and explore and find the fun, and the key to beautiful family photography where the entire crew shine is creating opportunities for their fun side to be free and for you all to interact in a genuine way.

Asking a child to play...

This is where we'll find the magic. Your images will look unplanned and unposed, but you'll be guided in to that moment by me with my experience of working with young children for over 13 years! I know what makes them tick. I have an array of idea's at my disposal, simple prompts, fun little games, absolute gems of craziness with a sprinkle of reverse psychology that work like witchcraft.

And yes we'll get some frowns, some false starts and some moments of what looks like chaos, but you'll also get those classic shots, tender moments of care, giggles and smiles and everything in-between.

Because children aren't ever perfectly still and pristine. That's not what they were invented for.
