What's the biggest decision you have to make when you welcome your newborn?

Is it babies name? Is it how you'll feed? Disposable or reusable nappies? Or how many coffee's to have to get you through the day?

The answer? None! It's what colour scheme you'd like for your newborn photography session of course!

I always start with a neural base palette for my sessions, creams, browns and earthy tones, maybe with a splash of natural foliage greens, and then you can choose if you'd like an accent colour- pinks, blues, greens, mustards, lilacs, it's all here in my cosy studio if you'd like it.

For this session pink was the choice! And how beautiful does she look surrounded in this soft shade of bliss!

Baby was 4 weeks old for this session, and with cuddles slept nearly the whole way through her Petal Newborn Session.
