When I shoot I aim to get everything right in camera as I'm really not a massive fan of editing my images heavily- I'd rather be with people creating than spend hours at my desk.
But there's sometimes little tweaks I need to make due to the constrains of my little studio- nothing a little human creativity won't fix. I hand edit by eye.
There are lots of short cuts out there, especially in Photoshop- but just look at this mental attempt for fixing the background. I can't even fathom why! "Oh yes lets fill this white space with some of babies chest! That makes perfect sense beep bop boop bop".
Just because a computer can do something quicker, doesn't mean it will do it well.
Sometimes, well, all of the time, investing effort, even it it's not the easiest path, gives you the best results. Just look at my galleries to see how I capture your reality.
